She counts when going into the dark alley at her home in Chicago. Franky, darkness scares me as it does Claire. I thought this novel was the scariest of the scary novels on the list this year.Ĭlaire resembles me-it's not that I believe in ghosts, but I also am not going to visit haunted places. This novel is a 2022 Lone Star selection. |
